Our WineriesCovilalba dels ArcsBodegas Covilalba dels Arcs, previously known as Cooperativa de la Germandat, was founded in 1961 in the town of Vilalba dels Arcas. The bodega was taken over from a few members of the former cooperative, and they proceeded to completely renovate and update the bodega in 2002 with a significant investment in modern winemaking equipment. Bodegas Covilalba produces wines with the D.O. Terra Alta demarcation. Similar to the bodegas in neighboring Priorato and with a very similar terrain as Priorato, Bodegas Covilalba produces wines predominantly from the Garnacha, Syrah, Cari?ena, and Cabernet Sauvignon varietals.
